I there, i'm just starting in tube amps and the Dsarling is my favorite design. I've just finished building the chassis and will start collecting parts not. The 1626 is almost impossible to find in Portugal but i've found a place that sels the VT137 (wich i thing is the same).
Any construction tips are welcome.

As of April 2008, I've built about 22 Darlings. So far, they are either the original capacitor coupled 8532/1626 design, or my own 12SL7/1626 version similar to Johannes LeBong's. Everyone loves the Darling !
more than 40 years experience into "glass"... Together with my collegue Stacey working on amps and other things. As an German expat I live in China since 1998. Tubes becoming respected here.
I am a young female electron engineer and have already built more than 15 tube amplifiers for fun and leaning understanding vacuum tubes. I think, joining the darling club, I can exchange knowledge and have fun.
