You are here: Home Projects...to keep you busy
projects

At this spot, I intend to bring you some simple interesting projects that should be fun, fun fun. There's nothing new here. All the ideas presented here are taken shamelessly off many sites, some ideas combined here and there but hopefully, still be able to cook up a nice dish. At the very least, palatable! Smile

Note that I've steered away from normal "audio" tubes as they are simply too expensive! When those tubes are called for, I'll try my best to direct you to some vendors where you'll get good value. It's the least I could do...

Geez, I have not been updating the site for a while but that doesn't mean I'm missing in action. It's just that I have been busy...

Hmm... Who wouldn't want to engage Beyonce in a threesome?  Wink

Every once in a while, I get invited to visit diyer's home and listen to their setup. Most of the time I politely decline as my tin ears just isn't fit for such a task. You know, it's like asking a blind man to commend on a Picasso. However, some setups are just too interesting to pass up.

I know! It's been a long while but I assure you the wait is worth it.

Many diyers have commented how good sounding the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) based volume control is. The strength is in purity of tone, without sacrificing much on dynamics. Many also tried to build a stereo unit but just couldn't get the stereo balance done right.

Have no fret as here we present you, our Beautiful Eva.

Charlize has danced her way into the hearts of many music lovers world wide. But the problem with Charlize is that, many clamour for more. More power actually. Seems like our girl could do no wrong except for a lack of muscles to tame those inefficient, complicated speaker drivers and its attendant crossover networks out there. So it's only fair we bring you her more powerful sister...

Every system needs some mojo... For Monica, here's the best mojo she could get now. From the roots of Rudolf Broertjes' SS I/V Gain Stage, with the help of intrepid diyers, modders on the diyers forum, we now present you.... mojo!
